Ladybeetles!

This year we've noticed more lady beetles in the orchard. They are a beneficial insect which means that they eat some of the predators that have negatives effects on the orchard. One of these are mealy bugs. The lady beetles eat them which helps reduce their numbers in the orchard, and acts as a natural way of reducing mealy bug numbers.
