Fruit thining!

2 weeks ago we were going through and thinning fruit off our trees. We thin our trees for 2 reasons, 1 is to relieve pressure on branches as if there is a heavy fruit load on a branch, the branch is likely to snap. The 2nd reason is that we want good sized fruit rather than smaller fruit. At the moment we are going through and doing the tops of the trees in the cherry pickers before we can put the netting on
